Woman spends more than $120,000 and three years of time to transform a retro bus into a cosy home.

People sometimes get a really crazy idea in their head and they get no rest until they accomplish it. It is kind of an addiction, that rush that you get from executing a beautiful vision that you have, even though things sometimes might not end up as you expected them too. I am one of those people. I might get an idea someday to just throw a dart in the map and leave everything behind to go to a random country and start everything over.

There is a certain rush in the unknown that if you follow it, you will get addicted to it. Is this adrenaline and the need to be free to explore how far can you mind go and how much further can your imagination stretch.

Jessie Lipskin is a Jersey girl and she had a vision one day. She grew up in a small house when she was little so she liked, tiny and cosy spaces to live in. She spotted this retro bus one day and she immediately was amazed by it. On one look she could already see how that bus would look like with a lot of hard work to modify it into a space for living.

So Jessie went on and bought the bus for $7,000. After buying the bus it was the time to get to work to turn the bus in the dream house that she always wanted. So she went on to make the necessary modifications, from the reconstruct of the floor to the rest.

And the end result was going to be beautiful. She spent three years to finish it but it finally looked perfect. The bus is divided into three sections. The end of the bus has a bedroom with enough room to sleep and move around. The centre of the bus is the kitchen with all the necessary objects and utilities including a washer and dryer. The top of the bus is while combined with the creamy brown furniture. Between the kitchen and the bedroom, there is a small corridor where there are a closet and a nook with a seater to read. At the beginning of the bus there is the bathroom divided into two sections, one for bath and the other for personal matters, even though Jessie hasn’t installed a toilet yet.

WOW

At the driver’s seat, there is an opening space where a queen size bed comes out of it. There is only one problem. Jessies is not sure if she can drive the bus with the manual stick shift. She has never done it before an now it is too late to go back. As I have said, she spent 3 years of time to build this and more than $120,000. Now she wants to sell the home bus for $149,000.
